At Afterlight studio, we value your privacy as deeply as we value reflection, calm, and intention. This Privacy Policy outlines how Drift handles your data — and more importantly, how we don’t.

1. Your Data, Your Device — And Your Cloud (Optional)

Drift is an offline-first journaling and reflection app. By default, everything you write, track, or save is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on our servers — because we don’t have any.

But we know some users want peace of mind with cloud backup. So we offer an optional Google Drive backup feature:

• No sign-in is required to use the app
• All features are available without logging in
• If you choose to sign in, it’s only to connect your Google Drive for backup

There is:

• No server-side storage
• No analytics
• No third-party tracking
• No hidden data uploads

You control what gets backed up and when.

2. What We Store (Locally)

Our apps store the following only on your device:

• Journal entries
• Answers to daily questions
